Predicting Academic Staffs Behaviour Intention and Actual Use of Blended Learning in Higher Education: Model Development and Validation

Abstract Blended Learning (BL) has been implemented by lecturers in higher educations for promoting effective pedagogical practices. However, intention to use and actual usage of BL education seems be a major setback successful implementation. Therefore, this study developed model examine the factors that influences lecturers’ behavioral based on Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology Technological, Pedagogical Content Knowledge model. Accordingly, survey questionnaire was employed collect data from 544 academic staffs across universities, colleges, polytechnics. Results indicate performance expectancy, effort social influence significantly impact teaching. Additionally, results confirm facilitating condition positively usage. Likewise, technological, pedagogical, content knowledge initiatives teaching multi-group analysis gender, age, experience, voluntariness do not predict behaviour BL. Also, provides insights as how can enhance improve effectiveness. This better understanding views relation course content, pedagogy, technology improving The used monitor their current activities measuring about regarding improvement. Practically, adopt pedagogies content.
